That's where I explored some delicious and nutritious postpartum superfood recipes featuring banana, coconut yogurt/milk, tocopherols, baobab, cashews, maca, shatavari, konjac root, Irish moss, MCT coconut oil, and coconut water.

Banana Baobab Mousse created with blending banana, coconut yogurt, tocopherols, baobab, cashews, maca, shatavri, konjac root, Irish moss, MCT coconut oil, coconut water topped with golden passion fruit flakes🌞🌼✨ This Milky Golden mousse is perfect for pregnant & breastfeeding/postpartum moms. If pregnant, add a very small quantity of maca or avoid it if you prefer since it is an endocrine stimulator.

Banana Baobab Mousse Recipe


  • 1 ripe banana, sliced

  • 1/2 cup coconut yogurt

  • 1 tablespoon Irish moss gel

  • 1 tablespoon baobab powder

  • 1/4 cup cashews soaked and drained

  • 1 teaspoon maca powder

  • 1 teaspoon shatavari powder

  • 1 teaspoon MCT coconut oil

  • 1/2 cup coconut water

  • Toppings: golden passion fruit flakes


  1. In a blender, combine the sliced banana, coconut yogurt, baobab powder, soaked cashews, maca powder, shatavari powder, MCT coconut oil, and coconut water.

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Pour the mousse into a cup and top with golden passion fruit flakes.

  4. Enjoy as a delicious and nourishing snack or meal.

Almond Butter Baobab Energy Bites are crafted with rolled oats, almond butter, maple syrup, tocopherols, baobab, shredded coconut, and maple syrup. These energy bites are a great source of alkaline protein. With baobab and tocopherols, perfect for reducing stretch marks and tightening loose skin. Oats, almonds, and coconut will keep the milk supply steady and bring in substantial nutrition for the growing baby.

Almond Butter Baobab Energy Bites Recipe


  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • 1/2 cup almond butter

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 2 tablespoons tocopherols (vitamin E)

  • 2 tablespoons baobab powder

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

  • 1 tablespoon shredded coconut


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond butter, maple syrup, tocopherols, baobab powder and chia seeds.

  2. Stir until well combined and the mixture holds together.

  3. Roll the mixture into small balls using your hands.

  4. Roll them into shredded coconut flakes to coat the outside

  5. Place the energy bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

  6. Enjoy as a quick and nutritious snack to boost your energy.

Root Moss Pudding is made with konjac root, Irish moss, coconut milk, vanilla extract, maca, pomegranate, and maple syrup. Irish moss is rich in minerals and fosters thyroid health, while konjac root provides prebiotics and fiber to the microbiome, also facilitating smooth bowel movements. Coconut milk and maca help balance hormones and are very nutritionally dense.

Root Moss Pudding Recipe


  • 1 cup coconut milk

  • 1 tablespoon konjac root powder

  • 1 tablespoon Irish moss gel

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

  • 1 teaspoon maca

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon pomegranate


  1. In a small saucepan, heat the coconut milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.

  2. Whisk in the konjac root powder, maca, and Irish moss gel until smooth and well combined.

  3. Stir in the maple syrup and vanilla extract.

  4. Continue to cook, stirring constantly, for 2-3 minutes, until the mixture thickens.

  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  6. Pour the pudding into serving glasses or bowls and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.

  7. Top with pomegranate, serve warm or chilled and enjoy a delicious and refreshing treat.
